As an Irish couple living in Australia, the idea of a Santorini wedding was always going to be a challenge to plan! With a family of 12 as well as 50+ other guests traveling from overseas, we spent quite some time researching the perfect backdrop for our dearest loved ones to all stay together as we shared this special time. Those images of blue sunny skies and the breath-taking Caldera were enough to keep us going, just until we found Eos Villa.

From the very beginning, we had a great feeling about Eos. All communication was proactive, prompt and so accommodating – regardless of the request, and I’m so thrilled to say that this theme carried on throughout, and post our stay. The accommodation itself was just perfect. Made up of three individual apartments as well as two private en-suite bedrooms, our entire group had the best of both worlds between staying together and privacy, with ample space for all our wedding preparation and general holiday needs. We housed a beautiful bridal shower in the large living area and were so grateful to receive fresh breakfast delivered daily, regular cleaning service leaving the entire space spotless, and all of our transportation booked on our behalf meeting us at the door, wherever we wished to go.

Personally, my favourite part was the pool area. An infinity-style pool overlooking the hills behind the property was such a perfect setting to find some calm and stillness in the midst of the wedding madness and provided a gorgeous spot for sunrise yoga and meditation. Starting my wedding day off there will always remain a special memory for me on such a precious day.

My husband and I cannot thank Eleni, George and the Eos team enough for making our wedding stay in Santorini so perfect. We are forever grateful!

We travelled all the way from South Africa to get married at Eos Villa because of my Greek heritage.

You might think organising something as important as a wedding from so far away would be a difficult experience, however Eleni, George and all the team made it really easy for us. They were even able to recommend a wedding planner and suppliers for the big day, including plates that were specially ordered for us for the traditional plate smashing we wanted to include.

Getting married on the villa’s pool deck overlooking the Mediterranean was unforgettable. It was followed by a fantastic meal on a long table with all our family and friends in the function room.

I’ve been trying to organize a retreat for the yoga class I teach for a very long time. It was important that the location was right, but also that the atmosphere was an open and welcoming one. Eos Villa did not disappoint.

The villa a great place to host a yoga retreat. Its layout, location in this most special of places, and hosts Eleni and George all blend perfectly to create exactly what I had been searching for, for so long.

Nothing was too much trouble for Eleni and George, who were always available and always smiling too. They gave us some great ideas about what to do while on the island, and seem to know everyone and everything about Santorini! They were really helpful in arranging a brilliant chef to cook for us every day, and also ensured our night of Greek dancing was something we will remember for a very long time, and for all the right reasons.

We visited Santorini as part of our honeymoon in October 2019. We stayed at Villa ilias Caldera hotel; a boutique hotel that is run by the same team of Eos Villa. We had an amazing time and we really appreciated the warmth and friendliness of Eleni and Yiorgos.

As we wanted to stage a photo shoot we asked the help of Eleni and Yiorgos and they proposed us to stay at Eos Villa which is an exclusive-private villa located at Imerovigli and which proved to be extremely suitable for our photo shoot. We actually stayed there for a couple of days and that was really the highlight of our trip. Actually we regretted we did not organize our wedding there; so we will highly recommend it to anyone wishing to do that.

This was my first time taking a group of yoga students on a yoga retreat and I’m really glad I selected Eos Villa as the retreat venue.

Eleni and Georgios are excellent hosts, who were available whenever we needed anything, and were always constructive and positive. We took our morning classes in the function room, and then headed straight to the pool area for a cooling swim and to soak up the gorgeous sun!

The view from the pool deck is amazing, with uninterrupted views right across Santorini’s eastern coastline. It’s an excellent viewpoint for enjoying the sunrise, and we found ourselves doing a little yoga here, as well as in the function room.

We had some amazing dinners from caterers on the island, which were organized with George’s help. Santorini is a great destination for a yoga retreat because of its unparalleled beauty and its people. I would highly recommend both Eos Villa and Santorini.

Loved our stay

Me and my now husband decided to get married in Santorini. We put together a group of 15 people and were looking for a place where we can all stay together. We found EOS Villa and we couldn’t be happier.

First i was communicating with George via email and i asked him if he could recommend a restaurant where we could possibly have a dinner after the wedding reception. He suggested we can have a wedding reception in the villa since there is a function room that could easily hold our group. It was a great idea. The room is sound proof and we just had the best time.

Prior our arrival i asked George tons of questions since none of us have ever been to Santorini and planning wedding from another country is already stressful enough and he was so kind and helpful with everything i asked – from finding a catering company to the best sunset view restaurants

When we arrived to Santorini to EOS villa Eleni was the one who welcomed us. She is the sweetest person i have ever met. She made us feel so welcomed. It was 4 days before the wedding day when we arrived and i swear I don’t know what i would do without Eleni’s help. She went above and beyond to take the stress off my shoulders and helped me with everything – flowers, transportation to and from the ceremony, catering arrangements….

Long story short – besides the perfect wedding our whole stay in villas was amazing. Eleni and her colleague Nikola were checking on us every day asking if we needed anything and making sure our whole experience was great. They recommend us a great hike to Oia, showed us where to get groceries, told us how to get around without car….i can just keep going on and on how helpful they were.

All 15 of us were super happy with our stay and we will definitely be back because Santorini is just magical and we will definitely come back to EOS villa. It’s a perfect place for groups who want to hang out together but also want to have the privacy.

Eos Villa is an absolutely amazing place to host a yoga retreat, with simply wonderful hosts. Being the first time we were responsible for bringing a yoga group to Europe from the US, we were quite nervous of what could go wrong, but don’t regret choosing to work with Eleni and the team.

The villa was very comfortable for our group of 12, who found both the function room and the external deck a very suitable place to conduct our yoga sessions. From the deck you can really enjoy the sunrise and sea views, while having the feeling of privacy necessary to meditate.

The highlight of the trip for me was a private cruise on the Gulf of Caldera and the trek we made to Scaros Rock, which we couldn’t have done without the team at Eos. We really hope to have the opportunity to return to Santorini and Eos Villa sometime soon.
